So far so good with the work they did. Engine light has been cleared and smog has passed. Just wish they would have I guess dumbed down the terminology when telling me what was wrong. I had advised that I knew I needed work done and was more than happy to pay the $250 for the test. One ran I asked if the issue was a sensor and was told they were not sure and there was no way to test the sensor. Just to find out that is what they ended up fixing for another $300… I could have done that and saved that money to then use for the other $1800 service they said my car urgently needs. Keep in mind the sensor was accessible so not like I was trying to do the impossible. A bit upsetting but I guess I should have been more firm and asked more questions.

Very smooth experience!l. Luckily, I live close and called and asked if they were available for a smog check and they said yes. I was in and out of there in under 30 minutes, which is pretty amazing! They had a nice lounge area to sit and relax while the smoke check was getting done and they had free coffees so can’t complain about that.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. So friendly, professional, quick to respond, transparent pricing. They even sent me a thank you card! Definitely will be returning for more services. I first came here because my sister had a great experience. I got an oil change and came back for a smog check for my 10 year old Civic. They recommended maintenance that I honestly put off because it was expensive. They never pushed it too hard or made me uncomfortable, they patiently and kindly explained why it was important to get those maintenance services. I finally committed and got transmission, coolant, brake fluid exchange, fuel injector cleaning, and other things and the car feels like it drives healthier and stronger if that makes sense. Afterwards I had some questions and brought it back to test drive and they made me feel heard and took my concern seriously. They identified the exact problem right away and addressed it for me. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate their expertise and customer service. Thank you Mike and the team!

I highly, highly recommend York Auto Care. I am not one to normally write reviews, but I had an amazing experience with the staff. They were able to pin point an electrical problem that other shops were not willing to explore as well as gave me a full diagnostic. I have access to a portal with my car on file and was able to see everything wrong. They were timely, communicative, and willing to work with me. They were also very sweet. I will be returning.

The most thorough explanation and car chrck up ive been. Mike was able yo answer all my questions, you know they take care of your car and costumer. Reasonable price as well. Will recommend!
