The best. Hands down, I will never take my car to anyone else. Heno, the owner, is the most helpful, honest and reliable mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. And he's a super nice guy too. He and Alfred (his awesome co-mechanic, also a former Saab mechanic for anyone who is looking for a great place to take their Saab) make incredibly quick work of accurately diagnosing and fixing every problem I've ever had and give you a detailed report on everything that is wrong, complete with photos of exactly how long you have until it must definitely be fixed, how much (exactly) it's gonna cost and when it will be done. He is an expert at saving you money but always does top notch fixes with good quality parts and always prices it out in front of you so you know exactly what you're paying for. Works on all kinds of cars. I literally can't think of a way the experience could be better.

A great local auto shop that provides quick and comprehensive service for low prices. Heno, the owner, does a good job communicating problems without pressuring you to do any repairs you don't want. They recently started emailing and texting inspection reports to customers, which is great. I was able to send them to my wife so we could discuss what actions we wanted to take and it made the whole process easier. If you live in Highland Park, I highly recommend York Auto Care.

Base on the job that I have I do know lots of auto mechanics from friends to strangers from rookie to professional, I can honestly say that I have never met a mechanic as professional as Heno. On my 1931 Rolls royce, I had a jeep 2000 engine and transmission in there and from the first day that we put the new engine and transmission, I was not able to drive it with automatic transmission and I had to shift manually on a automatic transmission, I did show it to bunch of mechanics and everybody was saying, it needs a new transmission, I went to Heno in York auto care, after 5 to 10 minutes checking, he fixed it with one wire connection, this is what I call Mecanic. He is honest, professional, polite and reliable and has extreme knowledge of auto mecanic. He gives you all the information you need and makes sure that you have been taken care when you take any car to his shop. Honest, expert service on both my classic car and my Toyota Tacoma. I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone but Heno for regular or major service. This shop does excellent work for a fair price and provides great customer service. I highly recommend York Auto Care.
