Heno is an honest mechanic, and he always does amazing work. I've been going to this place for several years, and I've never had a problem with him. In Los Angeles, it's always easy to find someone who will fix your car for a cheap price. But do they know what they are doing, and are they honest about what they are telling you? This is NOT the case with Heno. He's straightforward, and he's very competent.

I had a bad power steering fluid leak for nearly a year. I took it to a mechanic who said it would cost more than my van was worth to repair it just in labor. I shied away from dealing with it for some months then finally called York Auto Care and they said bring it in same day. They diagnosed it immediately and took care of it as soon as they received the special part they had to order. Heno was super helpful and I’ll definitely be going here from now on (hopefully not too frequently though!) New loyal customer here ;))

I originally leaned towards taking my car in for an oil change and smog test because York Auto Care was conveniently located. However, after the Yelp and Google Reviews sang their praises, I was sure this was where I'd take my car. From the moment I called them on the phone, they were courteous and clear about what they could do for me and how long it would take. After I arrived, I was taken care of quickly and given clear guidance as what to expect and the exact price I could expect to pay. The work took less time than actually quoted, and when I went to pick it up, one of their employees noticed that I had a nail in my tire. (which is no surprise as both my neighbor and I have recently had new roofs put on our houses). They stopped me from driving out and did a diagnosis of the tire. Ultimately the tire was fine, but I appreciate the careful attention to their customer's cars. And finally, they like most companies analyze your car for any other issues. I was presented with a couple of things (tire wear/break pad wear) I could fix, but at no time did I feel pressured or made to feel like I would be up a creek without doing them. I'll certainly be back to have the other work completed. Needless to say, I highly recommend York Auto Care!
